From the supplier: Bob Hunter, the director of insurance for Consumer Federation of America, has issued a report stating that product liability costs about 26 cents per $100 of retail product sales and that the current system for product liability is adequate. Hunter’s report, however, has several logical flaws. Fear of lawsuits leads to higher manufacturing and services costs and lawsuits themselves are inefficient and expensive.
